SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the new week! Temperatures have dropped into the 30s and 40s across the region this morning, with some cloud cover still remaining overhead. The clouds should disperse or move out of the region to the south going through this morning, allowing for much more sunshine by the afternoon!

Highs should only hit the lower 50s and upper 40s today due to the cooler air flowing through. Conditions remain calm into tonight, but temperatures are expected to fall into the 20s and 30s by early Tuesday morning, making it the coolest night of the week.
