Cardiff-based edtech venture Learna has been acquired by Dutch firm Reducate Edtech.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed but is understood to be an eight figure transaction.

Learna is a leading provider of online postgraduate education and continuing professional development (CPD) for professionals. Established in 2010 it delivers postgraduate diplomas, masters and MBA programmes across a range of disciplines.

Reducate were advised on the deal by Cardiff-based Hugh James (legal) and Gambit (corporate advisory). It follows its of Edinburgh-based Oxford Medical Training last year, on which Hugh James and Gambit also advised.
