VADODARA: Paralysed at the age of three due to a medical mishap, Geeta Rao's early life was fraught with challenges. By the age of eight, the young girl, overwhelmed by despair and shaken by a hurtful remark about her disability, even attempted to end her life. Yet, destiny had other plans. Today, at 46, Rao is a trailblazing para-cyclist from Ahmedabad, dedicating her life to training and mentoring India's next generation of para-athletes.
