NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A few changes are coming to WSMV4 News Today.

Current morning co-anchor Amanda Hara , who has also served as the Director of Digital Content for WSMV since joining the station in 2022, is being promoted to Regional Digital Director for Gray Media.

Marius Payton , current evening co-anchor, will join Holly Thompson in the mornings.

“Marius has done an excellent job in the evenings, and his move reflects both the importance of our morning shows and the confidence we have in his leadership on that team,” News Director Dan Fabrizio said.

Payton, an Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist, will move to the morning show in January.
