JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A perfect storm is brewing for Carlie Irsay-Gordon.
A monumental decision with no clear answer, even though certain segments of Indianapolis would say the choice is obvious if Indianapolis continues to collapse, tumbling out of AFC playoff contention after a 7-1 start.
When Irsay-Gordon and her sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, took over for their late father, Jim, in June, they inherited a team at a crossroads, prompting a question at their introductory press conference about whether the 2025 season was a “playoffs or else” season for general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen.
