A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on the M5 today, Monday, December 8.

Part of the motorway was closed on the southbound carriageway between J4 Rubery and J4a M42 due to a multi-vehicle collision at around 7am.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said the rider suffered potentially serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
