Bhubaneswar: Odisha currently has 34,636 pending Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs), Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the state assembly on Monday.
In a written reply to a question by Jatani MLA Bibhuti Bhusan Balabantaray, the Chief Minister stated that as of September 30, 2025, Puri district records the highest number of pending NBWs at 2,457, followed by Bhadrak (2,430), Balasore (2,134), Ganjam (2,023), Bhubaneswar Urban Police District (1,956), Koraput (1,829), Cuttack Urban Police District (1,278), and Kendrapada (1,561).
