Storm Bram has been officially named by Met Eireann as the latest storm to sweep across the UK, prompting the Met Office to issue fresh weather warnings for large parts of Wales as it approaches.
Both the Met Office and Met Éireann have issued multiple alerts ahead of Bram’s arrival, warning of disruption from late Monday through Tuesday. Yellow and amber warnings for wind and rain are in force across parts of Ireland, Wales, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with forecasters warning that the storm could bring widespread travel disruption, power outages and hazardous coastal conditions.
