Storm Bram has been named by forecasters and is expected to batter the UK with strong winds and heavy rain. A total of eight severe weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for Tuesday (December 8), including in Greater Manchester.
A yellow wind warning has been issued by the Met Office across the North West, with strong winds set to cause 'disruption' on Tuesday afternoon and overnight into Wednesday. The wind warning covers most of southern and eastern Scotland, Lancashire and Cumbria.
