Tenants at a 55-and-older manufactured home community in Forks Township have been worried for years about litigation tied to the land where they live.
The litigation is over, and they got a new landlord last week.
They still own their homes at the Village at Fox Crossing, but they will now pay rent to the new landlord for the right to keep those homes on his land at 3800 Kesslersville Road.
So, will he force them to move their homes? Will he demolish the homes to make way for luxury apartments? Will he jack up their rents?
Macungie resident Jason Danweber says none of those will happen.
Danweber said he’s the head of the management corporation that assumed control of the land last week. He’s also affiliated with an LLC formed to take ownership of the land.
