A grand jury has indicted three people in connection with the killing and dismemberment of a Gloucester County man whose remains have not been located.

Harold “Hal” Miller Jr. , 48, of Deptford, was last seen on surveillance video entering a residence on Baird Boulevard in Camden on June 12.

Prosecutors say Everton R. Thomas , 41, of Camden, shot Miller in the residence and then, with the help of his wife and son, cut up the victim’s body and disposed of his remains.

Everton Thomas’ attorney previously argued that prosecutors have no evidence that his client killed Miller or any evidence of how the victim died.

In October, authorities issued a new plea to the public for help in locating Miller’s remains.
