Sean “Diddy” Combs’s mom, Janice Combs, denied that the disgraced rapper ever abused her.

“I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix, ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning,’ released on December 2, 2025,” she told Deadline in a statement Saturday.

“These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life is intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation,” Janice, 85, added.

The former teacher’s assistant then said that Bad Boy co-founder Kirk Burrowes’ claims that Sean, 56, “slapped” his mom as they conversed about the nine people who were killed in the 1991 City College stampede , the “Act Bad” rapper organized, were “inaccurate and patently false.”
