NEW YORK (WFSB) - Before heading to “Storrs South” for a date with the Gators, the UConn men’s basketball team will see if it’ll move up in the Associated Press Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll .
The poll is expected to be posted Monday afternoon.
No. 5 UConn’s record stands at 8-1 after securing victories over East Texas A&M at home and No. 21 Kansas in Kansas last week.
While most of the top 5 continued their winning ways, No. 1 Purdue was blown out by No. 10 Iowa State 81-58 on Saturday.
Purdue’s loss could allow UConn to move up a spot. However, Arizona, Michigan, and Duke all remain unbeaten.
UConn’s next game is against No. 15 Florida at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Tip off on Tuesday is set for 9 p.m.
Fans can watch the game on ESPN.
