It might sound insane when it’s freezing cold, raining, icy or even snowy out there in December. But drivers are being urged to use their cold aircon this month to fight a common problem - condensation .

There’s nothing more annoying, and actually, few things more dangerous, than having your car windows or windscreen fog up while you’re trying to drive, especially when it’s dark, cold and rainy, far from ideal conditions in the first place.

Then, once you add a thick layer of mist and condensation, it can become downright hazardous.
