Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has pleaded not guilty to four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault during a court appearance this morning (December 8).

The former DJ and TV presenter arrived at Southwark Crown Court in London wearing a black hooded coat over a maroon shirt and black trousers, before being arraigned on all 15 counts.

The court heard that three of the alleged indecent assault offences allegedly took place at the BBC Studios in 1996. The 68-year-old is accused of committing offences against seven women between 1983 and 2016.
