ARCADIA, Ind. — A person was seriously injured in a crash in Hamilton County Sunday evening.
The White River Township Fire Department of Hamilton County said they responded to a crash in the 14000 block of East 266th Street, east of Arcadia, just after 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle with heavy driver-side damage after hitting a tree.
Firefighters found one person trapped inside the vehicle and were able to safely extricate them. The person was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
A dog was also removed from the vehicle, but only had minor injuries.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Indiana State Police helped crews on scene.
