JACKSON TWP. ‒ Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 25-year-old man at a strip club in the early hours of Dec. 8.
Police Chief Mark Brink said in a press release that the man was shot one time by a man who left before officers responded to Diamond Royale , 4675 Munson St. NW, at approximately 3:14 a.m.
"The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center by the Jackson Township Fire Department, where he is currently receiving treatment," Brink said in the news release issued shortly after 9 a.m. Dec. 8.
He said the 23-year-old shooter is cooperating with the investigation.
Brink said no further information will be released at this time.
"There is no ongoing threat to the community," he wrote.
