A popular fashion brand has announced plans to refurbish a further 40 stores after a stronger-than-expected trade year.
Matalan, which has over 200 branches in the UK, revamped 30 sites this year as part of a £25 million multi-year investment, with bosses now planning to update even more next year.
This comes as refurbished shops have reported sales uplifts of around 20 per cent year-on-year, with customer satisfaction also continuously rising.
Amendments set to be made to the 40 stores being revamped next year include the addition of new concessions such as Little Mistress, Blue Vanilla and Quiz, as well as new self-service tills.
