Strictly Come Dancing fans have had a lot to say after last night's tension-filled quarter-finals, which ultimately saw Lewis Cope and his partner, Katya Jones, axed from the competition.

The stars fought it out for a slot in the semi-finals last night, with Balvinder Sopal and her partner, Julian Caillon, and Brum's own Karen Carney, and co-star, Carlos Gu, the first two to sail through to next week.

Supporters of the show have since shared their thoughts on the episode, with many issuing their support to Balvinder, who has been in the dance-offs a record amount of times.

She has beaten other couples five times to stand strong in her place in the competition, ultimately waltzing through to the semi-finals.
