ROCHESTER, Minn. — Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo is set to receive a $2,040,000 grant recommended by the Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission . County officials say this funding will replace two pedestrian bridges, enhancing access to more than 350 acres of parkland. The current bridges, installed in 1974, have been the sole access points to the park’s west and north areas. Seasonal flooding and new accessibility standards have made modern updates necessary. The new structures will meet ADA standards to ensure all visitors can enjoy the park.
