INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police troopers are asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenager from Florida who was recently seen in the Indianapolis area .

Police said 13-year-old Mia Renee Cooksey has been seen recently in the Indianapolis area around Harding Street. Cooksey also has family and friends that live in the Sullivan County area.

Police said she is considered to be in danger.

Cooksey is described as being 5' 4" tall, 190 pounds, with pink shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Cooksey's whereabouts is asked to contact the Indiana State Police Evansville Post at 812-867-2079 or 1-800-852-3970.

She has been reported missing and has been entered into the Indiana Missing Children’s Clearing House and into the National Crime Information C
