Country music legend Reba McEntire’s fans are sending prayers her way this week after her family was hit hard by tragedy once again.

Marissa Blackstock, who is married to McEntire’s son, Shelby Blackstock, announced on Instagram that she had a miscarriage.

“I’ve carried more loss this year than I ever imagined I could,” Marissa wrote. “First my brother-in-law, then my dad … and now our little boy. Grief has a way of reshaping your world, and I’ve learned that to survive it, you have to search for even the faintest glimmer of meaning — the small silver thread that helps your heart keep going.

“Our little boy was that for me,” she continued. “He arrived the day after my dad passed, two pink lines on Thanksgiving morning … something I had never seen before in three long years of trying,”
