A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a "gifted musician" who was found dead at a property in Inverness . Iain Gordon Macfarlane, 32, from Ullapool, died following an incident at Strathspey Place on Thursday, December 4.
Emergency crews raced to the residential street off Inshes Road in the city, after the alarm was raised at around 8.30am. Upon attendance, Iain was pronounced dead at the scene .
Waldemar Jaronski, 52, of no fixed abode, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday charged with his murder . He made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody. He is expected to appear next within eight days.
