Rangers have offered John Souttar improved terms on an extension until the summer of 2028. ‌

Talks have been on-going with the 29-year-old - who is out of contract at the end of the season - for several months as Rangers chief look to try and come to an agreement. The Light Blues have offered a substantial increase to his basic wage over the discussions on a guaranteed two year deal. ‌

Negotiations over a deal are still on-going with Souttar’s representatives. Sporting director Kevin Thelwell had led the discussions but has now been taken over by other Rangers officials, along with input from the 49ers Enterprises group. ‌
