Miley Cyrus wrote a song for the third Avatar movie, and is doing the requisite panels and events, possibly because an Oscar nod could be in her sights. This probably wouldn’t be her year to win — they put an eligible original song into Wicked: For Good — but The Powers That Be always feel like they’re reaching for entrants in this category, so the words “Academy Award nominee Miley Cyrus” don’t seem far-fetched at this point. Hannah Montana would be so stoked.
