Six months after the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad in June this year, a US lawyer, Mike Andrews, representing over 130 families of those killed in the accident, and a US aviation attorney have demanded that the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) concerning the incident must be made public.

Andrews states that releasing the data will bring transparency to the investigation and allow the affected families to decide what their next legal step should be.
