Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing Connecticut teenager after he left his family's Bristol home last week and did not return.

Kenya Brown, 16, left his home around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4. His mother has not seen him since.

Brown is described as having short, dreadlock-style hair, standing five feet six inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds. He does not have any distinguishing tattoos or marks.

His mother said he left the house wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Brown has run away from home in the past, police said.

Officials ask anyone who has information on his whereabouts or sees him to contact Bristol police at 860-584-3011.
