NEW ORLEANS —

The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting Monday morning in the Willowbrook area.

The deadly shooting happened at the intersection of Willowbrook Drive and Michoud Boulevard, according to the NOPD. Advertisement

Police say a man was found dead at the scene around 7:33 a.m. after cars driving by reported a body in the area.

The man has not been identified at this time.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victims and official cause of death upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
