Detectives are investigating a suspected suicide at a Marrero residence where U.S. Marshals Service was serving an arrest warrant Monday morning, according to authorities.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed they are investigating the death which occurred in the 2000 block of Constantine Drive in Marrero's Lincolnshire neighborhood.

The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office is on scene. The deceased, a man, has not been publicly identified.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair said agents from his officer were serving an arrest warrant at the residence for a man wanted out of Jefferson Parish on felony domestic violence charges.
