As a Kerala court on Monday acquitted Malayalam actor Dileep in the 2017 abduction and sexual assault case involving a south Indian actress, he blamed his ex-wife and prime witness Manju Warrier for what he called a criminal conspiracy against him.
The court held six others — prime accused Sunil N S alias Pulsar Suni, Martin Antony, Manikandan B, Vijesh V P, Salim H, and Pradeep — guilty. The quantum of punishment is expected to be announced on December 12. Apart from Dileep, the court also acquitted three others in the case.
