STANTON COUNTY, Neb. (KOLN) - A man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl on multiple occasions was arrested in Stanton County on Saturday.
The Sherman County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office about a possible sexual assault suspect in Stanton County.
During the investigation, authorities determined that the 11-year-old had been sexually assaulted several times at a home in Woodland Park, according to the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities interviewed the victim with the help of a child advocacy center and later identified the suspect as 50-year-old Henry Pena-Urrutia.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said Pena-Urrutia admitted to sexually assaulting the victim on at least three occasions at the home.
