A man has been charged with burglary offences after two houses were broken into on the same day. Merseyside Police received a report on Friday, December 5 at 8.55am that someone had broken into a home on Ibbotsons Lane, near Sefton Park, and took a number of items including jewellery and bank cards.
Police believe the same suspect had earlier tried to break into other homes on the same street. Later that day, it was reported a man had broken into a home on Cooperage Close, in Toxteth . Officers attended the scene and a man was arrested and later charged.
Jason Higham, 51, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and being found in or upon enclosed premise
