COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Education has approved Richland One’s Corrective Action Plan , which outlines steps to address areas needing improvement identified in a recent financial and operational review.

District officials said the plan responds to findings from an Agreed-Upon Procedures review conducted by a certified public accounting firm. The review examined Richland One’s financial and operational practices and highlighted areas requiring improvement.

An approval letter from State Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver, along with Richland One’s Corrective Action Plan and the CPA firm’s recommendations, are now posted on the district’s website .
