COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) has selected Chris White as its new President and CEO, effective January 5, 2026.
“It’s a privilege to be chosen to serve as President and CEO of CAE,” said White. “Columbia Metropolitan Airport is a vital gateway for the Midlands and South Carolina, and I’m excited to help it grow in ways that support our economy and improve quality of life across the region."
Officials say White brings more than 30 years of experience supporting commercial service airports through growth, modernization and stakeholder collaboration.
He joins CAE after serving as Chief Operating Officer at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport Authority, where he oversaw operations, marketing, air service development and a record-setting capital program.
