Police have recovered about $40,000 worth of stolen clothing, shoes and other merchandise, some of which were allegedly being sold online.
Burnaby RCMP said it received a tip about a person who was allegedly selling stolen clothing on an online marketplace.
Officers searched a Vancouver home on Nov. 19 and seized clothing, shoes, and watches believed to be stolen from stores in Burnaby, Vancouver, Coquitlam and West Vancouver.

The clothing was described as “high-end” and included 106 pairs of pants, 48 shirts and sweaters, 15 jackets and hoodies, 14 pairs of shoes, nine watches and five purses. Police also seized more than $2,000 in cash.
