The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 12:23 p.m. on Monday valid from 7 p.m. until Tuesday 10 p.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
The weather service describes, "Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects," comments the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
