DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. - Authorities are seeking help to locate a missing man from Christmas Valley after his truck was discovered in the Elliott State Forest, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

DCSO officials said that hunters found 61-year-old Robert Cotter's unoccupied white 2002 Ford utility pickup on Nov. 30 near Loon Lake. Cotter, who runs Robert C Handyman & Paint, was last seen on security footage at a Christmas Valley gas station on Nov. 2. He was known to provide services in Reedsport and Elkton.

The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information on Cotter's whereabouts or who has seen his vehicle since Nov. 2 to contact them at (541) 440-4471, referencing case number 25-4113.
