The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says six people have been arrested after a large fight broke out in the parking lot of Tyner Academy late on November 20, following the school’s basketball game against Howard High School.

Deputies say around ten people were seen assaulting one individual near several parked HCSO patrol vehicles. One patrol car was damaged during the incident.

Most everyone fled the scene before police backup could arrive, so deputies have been using school security camera footage to identify suspects.

When verbal commands failed to break up the crowd, deputies used a taser and OC spray to de-escalate the situation. Officials say all suspects and victims initially fled the scen
