SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley deputies arrested a theft suspect who caused more than $7,000 in damage to a business air conditioning unit, according to the Spokane Valley Sheriff's Office.
Joshua M. Myers, 37, was arrested Dec. 6 after deputies used Automated License Plate Reader technology to track him down, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies responded Dec. 5 to a theft call at a business near the intersection of East Valleyway Avenue and North Argonne Road. Someone had torn apart an exterior air conditioner and stolen its internal parts between Dec. 4-5, according to the sheriff's office.
Witnesses saw Myers arrive in a cream-colored Cadillac during late evening hours Dec. 5, tear apart the air conditioning unit, and carry the parts back to his vehicle, the sheriff's office
