WILKES-BARRE — President Donald Trump will speak at Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, Monroe County, on Tuesday, White House officials confirmed.

The president will reportedly discuss how he and his administration continue to focus on delivering on his priority of ending what he calls Joe Biden’s inflation crisis.

The event is set for 6 p.m.

Pennsylvania State Police and Secret Service will issue temporary road closures and institute detours in the Mount Pocono area, noting that congestion could cause long delays. They suggest motorists use alternative routes.

The Associated Press last week reported that Trump would highlight his efforts to reduce inflation, even as fears mount about a worsening job market and amid signs that Americans are still feeling squeezed by high prices.
