Molly Bish’s family continues searching for answers after more than 25 years, sharing their story again on “48 Hours.”
On June 27, 2000, their beloved 16-year-old daughter was abducted from her job as a lifeguard at Comins Pond in Warren.
Her disappearance set off a massive search but it wasn’t until three years later that her remains were found. They were discovered a few miles from the pond.
In 2021, Francis “Frank” P. Sumner Sr. — a convicted rapist and kidnapper who died in 2016 — was identified as a suspect in her case.
But as of Dec. 8, the killing remains unsolved.
