Canadian rapper bbno$ , real named Alexander Gumuchian , has announced he will no longer make music.

The 30-year-old songwriter posted on Instagram on Monday (December 8) to reveal he would take a step back “for the foreseeable future” at the behest of people who have asked him to “stop making music.”

Read his full statement: “As you guys know, I am for the people. And the people have asked me to stop making music. Due to the millions of people begging me to stop, I have made the incredible difficult decision to stop making music for the foreseeable future.”

He signed the text post “happy holidays,” and in his caption he wrote, “thank you for the memories.”

In his Instagram story, bbno$ also posted a black screen with the word “bye” and a heartbreak emoji.
