JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced shortly after 8 p.m. Monday evening that Annie Ruth Jackson was found safe.
JSO asked for the community's assistance in locating the 75-year-old woman after she was reported missing Monday afternoon at around 4:30 p.m. after leaving her home on Yulee Street. It was reported to officers that she was previously diagnosed with dementia.
Jackson, described as being 5'3", 180 pounds and having grey braids, was last seen in a white shirt, grey sweatpants, and wearing no shoes, according to JSO.
