Former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers , 44, will reportedly visit and workout with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday (December 9), NFL Network 's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Monday (December 8) night.

Rivers' reported workout comes in the wake of Daniel Jones ' season-ending injury, with backup Anthony Richardson Sr . on injured reserve, and rookie Riley Leonard , who took over in Jones' absence during Sunday's (December 7) loss to the AFC South Division rival Jacksonville Jaguars, set to start in next Sunday's (December 14) game against the Seattle Seahawks.
