A former Frederick pediatrician was ordered to serve about 25 more years behind bars on Monday after being convicted of sexually abusing a girl who was his patient from her birth until she switched doctors at age 11.

Ernesto Cesar Torres, 75, was sentenced by Frederick County Circuit Judge William R. Nicklas Jr. to a total of 45 years imprisonment, with 15 years suspended.
