Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles ’ offense have endured their fair share of struggles recently. But they achieved a new low on one particular play on Monday night.

The Eagles were driving to potentially take the lead early in the second quarter of Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. That’s when disaster struck.

Hurts threw a brutal interception. Da’Shawn Hand, the Chargers’ 300-pound defensive lineman, dropped into coverage over the middle, and Hurts threw it right to him.

Hand tried to return the pick but was quickly chased down by running back Will Shipley, who punched the ball free. The ball bounced off the SoFi Stadium turf, and Hurts was there to jump up and snag it. But he only held onto the ball for a brief moment.
