Star college quarterback Sam Leavitt is no stranger to scrambling with the football, and he might very well be running away from his Arizona State team to head to the transfer portal.

The Sun Devils held their annual celebration dinner to honor the team and staff for the year, and every captain for Arizona State was in attendance except for its quarterback, who led them to the College Football Playoff in 2024.

This comes amid rumors that the signal-caller could transfer this offseason in hopes of upping his draft stock in 2027. Leavitt, who entered the year projected as a first-round pick by multiple draft pundits, had a slow start to the year before heating up and ultimately getting derailed by a season-ending foot injury against Baylor.
