MURRAY – While Wednesday is expected to be quite pleasant, the National Weather Service predicts that this weekend’s temperatures will be much lower than average for December.

Justin Holland, Murray’s official government weather observer for NWS’s Paducah office, said the weather will start to take a colder turn tomorrow night, but the worst won’t come until Saturday.

“We will actually warm up quite nicely on Wednesday, with highs in the low-to-mid 50s, which will make it probably the warmest day we've had in a couple of weeks,” Holland said. “But then things will get much colder on Thursday, with highs in the low 40s.
