One NASA astronaut and two Roscosmos cosmonauts returned to Earth from the International Space Station on Tuesday. Cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky and astronaut Jonny Kim landed southeast of the town of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.
The crew members' space mission lasted 245 days.
Their Soyuz spacecraft separated from the International Space Station at 8:41 p.m. ET Monday (0141GMT Tuesday) over eastern Mongolia.
They landed at 12:03 a.m. ET (0503GMT) Tuesday.
NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian crewmates Sergei Mikaev and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov arrived at the International Space Station, replacing Ryzhikov, Zubritsky and Kim.
They are expected to spend about eight months at the orbiting outpost.
