December has been a frustrating month for Logan Cooley, with injuries once again interrupting what had been a strong season for the young forward. The 21-year-old had already taken a hit last week, and now the Utah Mammoth are facing the reality of being without one of their most dangerous attackers for an indefinite period.

Cooley first went down during last week’s game against the St. Louis Blues after he took a knee-on-knee collision with Alexey Toropchenko. The forward left the game early, but avoided a long absence at that time.
